Well, she obviously thought she knew the identity of who made that post. Someone obviously knows her. I don't know Marla, but I am interested in seeing where this case goes in regards to LD. I am only suggesting that if the FBI has been investigating LD for the past year, then they have to have more stuff than has been made public. Now, what they have may implicate LD, it may rule him out. I'd just like to know what they have.

The thing I like about DZ, is that this isn't just a forum for observers like myself, but it's also a place for those who are part of the story. Jerry, you obviously didn't have anything to do with Norjack, but you are part of the DB Cooper story. The same can be said about Jo. And the same can be said of Marla. For that reason, I thought it was cool that she was here. I don't blame her for leaving though. I thought she was treated poorly by a couple of people here. Too bad.

On another note, was Jamie Cooper's dad ever a serious suspect? I looked at the photo comparison and handwriting comparison on his facebook page and quite honestly it looked to me like one of the worst cases ever of someone trying to point to a suspect. The photo looked nothing like the sketch and the handwriting looked nothing like the Dan Cooper handwriting. Just wondering if anyone ever took this guy serious. I don't know much about him and for all I know, he may have had some good reasons to claim his dad was DBC.

For the record: I am actually friends with a couple of journalists, including one who does a lot of investigative reporting. He is aggressive when he thinks the circumstances warrant, but these are people who chose to be in the public eye or otherwise do demand investigating (pyramid schemes posing as investment trusts for example). And he has never resorted to publishing tabloid photos.

At this point I'm not sure whether I feel or more scorn or pity for you. If you actually believe what you posted, your self-delusion rivals someone else on this thread

If the REAL ID law is being enforced in Oklahoma where Marla lives this might be the reason she reverted to Cooper.

A woman has to use her first given name and her middle name (I had always used my maiden name as my middle name) and then last married name.

Now the REAL ID LAW will not allow a woman to use here MAIDEN name as her MIDDLE name. So if Marla was divorced when she got her drivers license, her legal name would be Marla + (whatever her given middle name is) and Cooper, unless she chose to keep the last married name.

I GOT a REAL ID shock when I was told I could NOT use my MAIDEN name as my middle name and had to use the last name of the last Husband I had never used. My only other choices were to obtain a passport under the name I use (just for 10 yrs) or legally change my birth name leaving out my middle name. Another options is a legal name change at approx $1700 in the State of FL.

Had I not been allow to use my name I would have to change ALL of me holding - accounts, deeds, vehicle (34 documents in total) plus my medicare, IRA and everything to the new name (costs around $7000 approx). Not many senior retirees have that kind of money laying around.

Weird thing is it took only 2 wks to get a passport using my current name with only a birth certificate and a marriage license.
The passport is good for 10 yrs.
By the time I am in my 80's I won't be driving...but what if - I would only be stringing out the inevitable.

I expect this might be why Marla uses Cooper. You guys don't change names and now a woman doesn't have to change names...because the new LAW will allow her to use her given name for the rest of her life.

Family member need to be careful when giving their children names now.

For instance:
Minnie Mouse (pronouce MOOSAY) Cooper

If she married many yrs ago she was able to drop the Mouse.

Minnie Cooper Fucks (pronouced Fewks)

Now today with the REAL ID law she is required to use -
Minnie Mouse Fucks on her drivers license and that is her legal name.

Our government has GONE too far in telling married women they have use their middle name when they have for 34 yrs used their maiden name as the middle name.

This resulted in Minnie have to get a passport at $145 or legally change her name ($1700) or change all of her multiple holding to ($7,000) to a name that is ridiculous:

Minnie Mouse Fucks.

Minnie was able to get a passport she did not need to obtain a drivers license in the name of Minnie Cooper Fucks - pronouce it with a long U.

Time to REPEAL this new LAW.The federal government recognized Minnie by the name of Minnie Cooper Fucks - SS, medicare, checking, IRA's, supplements, life insurance, all banking accounts and safe deposits (with the new law she has to change these things to her legal name).

All this law is doing is creating HAVOC and now the Federal government is thinking about doing the same thing. (A federal agent told me the REAL ID law is a disaster and a drain on the system to change all of the documents). THIS makes ID theft even more vunerable.

The worst part is our Medical records:
The new license will have the woman's SS number on it with xxxx for the last 4 digits.

But if Minnie is in an auto accident and her Medicare is being drawn under her last husband SS number - guess what the Medical system cannot find her. I tested this with 2 hospitals I have records with. Neither one could pull of any records for the name I gave them.

Since race is on one of the records - they could pull it to 2 individuals. Age might be another factor. But FACE IT - immediate medical care would not be available unless the patient is able to respond in a critical situation.

Get out there and VOTE help Repeal the REAL ID law or the government can pay for my legal fees and the passport and reimburse me for my time in doing all of this.

I think you all may be missing something which
could be important, ie the personal vita for DB
Cooper. He had one! He had a family and personal
history. What circumstances bring a person to
hijack? I can assure you with absolute certainty,
the professional at the FBI have given that some
thought, especially after the initital crime and
Cooper not being apprehended, such work done by
specialists within the FBI. Very likely a profile has
been created for DB Cooper, and it may have been
updated with current techniques and modeling.
The Marla story may be being evaluated in that
context; and any other claims by others likewise.

Marla and the facts she has about family history
are going to be judged in terms of the FBI's
profile and maybe by specialists in that field.

So, revealing particulars in Marla's family and
personal history may actually be helping profilers
in their evaluation of LD vis-a-vis Marla, family
history, and a Cooper profile!

So, rather than revealing Marla to be a liar, the
poster could find the exact reverse effect than what
the poster intended. Marla already said she had
revealed "all" to the FBI. So Marla is already
immunized, as it were, to jerkoffs posting on
internet forums, and anything they could say or
reveal may only be the very proof profilers are
looking for!!!

Its in the hands of the FBI. I seriously doubt
anything said here will matter, much less decide
this matter, for Marla or for the FBI.

You might have kept Marla around for another day
or two before you slit your own wrists with your
greed and "opinions" hoping for an effect and fame.

For that, I apologize to Jamie Cooper. He sent me a message as was none to happy about my post. But, I won't apologize for the post. I see no real similarities between the sketches and the photos posted. Nor do I see any similarities in the handwriting.

I am not a keyboard bully, and my post wasn't meant to be critical of anyone. I was merely asking if he was ever looked at as a suspect by anyone other than Jamie Cooper. That's all.
