Bob Knoss did make a good point: nobody has ever been proven to have died jumping out of a 727. There is only one jump where the outcome is unknown: Cooper's. Everyone else who jumped from a 727 made it to the ground alive as far as I know.
Nobody has ever been proven to have died, jumping
out of an AFLAC duck, either.
So if its fits your bias, use it.
It's different. Nobody has jumped from an AFLAC duck. Hundreds of skydivers, an unknown number of military jumpers and even a whuffo skyjacker have successfully jumped from a 727. One 727 jumper is missing: Dan Cooper. All others lived as far as I can tell.
Quack Quack.

QuoteQuoteQuoteI like your idea of a summer Auburn symposium, RobertMBlevins. At the first annual Portland Symposium, I was amazed at the volume of knowledge, concentrated information, and expertise that lived in one room. As I see it, getting together more often can't hurt. Thanks RobertMBlevines for your willingness to take on such a formidable task. I've organized a few symposiums and seminars over the years -- believe me, putting on any kind of significant seminar is tons and tons of work. If I can help you out, let me know.
That would be cool.... then everyone could trapse off to the woods (AKA The Death Woods) around Ariel... I wonder if the squatch hunters from AnimalPlanetTV would be out there at the same time....
I love that show, three of them remind me of a few folks here!

Only unknown to the general public. There are plenty of us that do know. They just aren't sayin'. Just counting on my fingers, I run out of fingers, and, by golly, I run out of toes, too! Wouldn't be a State Secret if EVERYBODY talked, right, Jerry? Where's Jerry? Did he blow a fuse? Get sent back for reprogramming? Calling R2D2. QS QS. Jerry knows EVERYTHING!

Now, I was sure I saw a familiar object shoot out the back end of an AFLAC duck flying overhead. It was about 45° off the horizon accompanied by a match and bright flash. And he yelled as he was blown out of sight, "Buy BLAST!, and to all a good-night!" Quack! Quack! What some guys won't do for cheap advertising.

So the four, or so, folks you mentioned before are now, maybe forty? If so the truth would have been out already.
How is that DD-214 coming along?

If you pinch your nose, stick one finger in your ear and hold your breath does a whistle start to blow in your head? NO RECORDS ANYWHERE! WIPED CLEAN. POOF! BLANKET PARDON. Go figure. So sorry.
And in the story another suspect emerges!
The Dad did it!
