olemisscub 510 #57858 September 3, 2022 Vault 74 sucked. Just nothing but 302’s of yokels writing or calling in after watching reruns of Unsolved Mysteries. Speaking of which, is Unsolved Mysteries the one where Cooper is from Alabama and Himmelsbach basically has Cooper jumping into the middle of the Yukon and crawling to a watering hole and dying? lol
FLYJACK 702 #57859 September 3, 2022 (edited) A map of the radar track from Reno Tower was supplied to the FBI.. NORJAK crossed into Nevada from California 25 miles North and 14 miles West of Reno. That is in line with Red Bluff. Edited September 3, 2022 by FLYJACK

(eg case must involve a homicide). And rules about who can submit something to the Lab - (Agent must instruct Lab what is wanted, eg. finger prints, ......... for example somehow a few of the Ingram bills got finger printed by request in spite of a very low probability of success. The Lab did what it was asked to do. If nobody asks, there is no lab work. (Im not sure what the rules are today....) Labs are always overwhelmed with work ............ FLYJACK 702 #57865 September 4, 2022 Somebody put "Jack" out of his misery... The ICS matchbook had notes written on it.. that is why Cooper took it, not because it had personal meaning. (though Jack is correct Cooper did not seem too worried about fingerprints)
FLYJACK 702 #57866 September 4, 2022 (edited) I have had some sophisticated attempts to hack into my computer recently and it is Cooper related... heads up It isn't amateurs... coming from a commercial proxy server in Chicago... And the Hair.Just finished the most recent book on D.B. Cooper. I liked it. The butts were examined by the lab and discarded within 2 weeks of the hijacking. Not a mistake. So if Carr told you they might still be in their possession would you believe him? Not a coverup, incompetence and ignorance. Of course the FBI is still looking for them.... 50+ years after they destroyed them.. Carr is not interested in minutiae... FLYJACK 702 #57873 September 4, 2022 11 minutes ago, Slim King said: Have you read them all ... Which ones are junk? I intentionally did not read any until I had thoroughly researched the case. Without a high case knowledge level you can't read them critically.. I have since read some and ignored most based on obvious critical flaws. Primary Cooper research doesn't come from somebody else's opinion in a book. The better ones lay out the facts... the junk has critical facts wrong and tries to sell a suspect. I did primary research.. books are secondary.. In most cases, the authors have discussed their books publicly or the synopsis is published.. most books can be dismissed easily if you know the case well. Some books give you primary research, stick to those.. Though all books contain errors.. some more-so than others. georger 244 #57875 September 4, 2022 (edited) AT DBC forum Jack notably says: Let's address the "worried about fingerprints " issue: He wasn't worried about the bourbon drink glass He wasn't worried about the cigarette butts He wasn't worried about the tie He wasn't worried about the time in the bathroom He wasn't worried about his seat area He wasn't worried about the parachute pack he opened to cut the cords He wasn't worried about the railings on the aft door he probably touched on the way out. He wasn't worried about the plane ticket He wasn't worried about the $20 bill he gave the counter for the ticket He wasn't worried about the $20 bill he gave for the drink But he was worried about a single empty matchbook that the flight attendant had manhandled for who knows how long lighting him cigarettes? Cooper's actions dictate that he wasn't concerned about fingerprints rather that he has a compulsive personality towards inanimate objects that he feels personally connected to. And this personality trait would be identifiable by those who spend any amount of time around him. Jmo. *** G: signs of Cooper under stress ? And from this, the agents got no viable prints ?
