That Avatar was a composite cut in half and a picture of Duane at a slight tilt (note he did NOT allow straight on photos - he was always posed with a slight turn). This made the nose look narrower, but in my amaturish way it was the best I could do. I cut the composite in half and tape the 2 things together. Then I scanned that and that is what I posted as my Avatar. I did NOT do this on a comupter and I only made ONE mark - that was a very very slight connection of the hair line due to the angle of the picture of Duane being made by someone shorter than himself...it was minute. I do not know how to use a computer to manipulate photos like others can. Note the post with the attachement - I can't even figure out how to do the Office slide so that it will show well on the computer the way FarFlungs posters do. I would like to know if anyone knows what Sluggo meant on his site when he mentioned the ST. Pete papers - regarding Duane's arrest and conviction. I read nothing about a conviction in the 2 article I have. Since I am unable to down-load things from Sluggo's site - I can't see what is there - perhaps someone on this forum can help me out. I found NO conviction and no record of what happened to Duane after the arrest in St. Pete - the next thing I have is his being placed in Canon City, CO in El Paso County in 1960. Next week we're releasing Escape Velocity: The Anthology, which includes 48 sci-fi stories by 44 authors from around the planet, and that excites me a lot more than the Cooper book, trust me on this. Jo: Producer says he got a couple of messages from you. I told him you think your husband was the hijacker and left off on my opinions on that. No big deal, but they're running the Cooper episode of Decoded again on Wednesday at 8PM, 9 Central. Too bad they couldn't get Helen Jones to appear. She's still afraid of Bernie Geestman, AKA Pinnochio. She puts KC and Bernie together and missing for days over the weekend of the hijacking. Her daughter confirmed this, too. I think you have taken a bunch of dysfunctional people and concluded their dysfunctionality adds up to one of the members being DB Cooper - without examining any other more likely outcomes, even in the face of other evidence you evidently give no credence to. Somewhere in this world is a story about Mr. Cooper and other people. I just dont happen to believe this is it or even the right set of variables. Maybe Katy Watson was Angel Udell! Occam is a "principle" (perhaps "suggestion" would be a better word) not a law of nature. Occam simply suggests that when you have two competing theories that provide the same answer you may as well use the simpler one, other things being equal. This does not mean that the more complex theory is wrong or even that the simpler one is correct. Your three possible answers listed above can be expanded to include any number of possibilities. But the last possibility should be, "z. None of the above.". Only the two people involved know where they were and what they were doing that weekend. They may not have even been together. Yes, I realize that is medical research and not historical but the process is the same if not the outcome from following deeply flawed structures. Those being the lack of cross checks and validation, because they are viewed as a hindrance to obtaining a foregone conclusion. Now is the time to introduce ‘Cooper-ramA’ as yet another layer of filtration to the already fine mesh system that has produced: visual verification of a person jumping from the aft stairs, flare tossing, Cooper chatting with the pilot, Boeing 737 development in 1961, below the horizon LOS comms interception, beach debris pedigrees, care and use of Airstream products, landing gear as spoilers, target spotting via nothing, airmanship through incompetence, lack of savings from those working on Shemya for five years, an accomplice accepting a 0/100 percent split of a ransom and jump qualified welders. 377 22 #22624 April 6, 2011 Bob, a Boeing engineer who rented a room to Sheridan "Pete" Peterson in the early 60s, did some cutting and pasting to produce this split face picture of Sheridan Peterson and the FBI Cooper sketch. see below. Bob reports that Pete quizzed him about the 727 stair operation during his stay, but Bob was working on the 737 stairs and couldnt provide the 727 info sought by Pete. Pete, a former Marine and USFS smoke jumper, later went to work for Boeing in tech documentation and also founded the Boeing Skydiving Club. The picture of Pete appears to have been taken in China where he made a record breaking (oldest jumper) parachute jump in his 70s. Whether he was Cooper or not, Pete is a well qualified jumper, is innovative and has courage. He made night jumps, was a wingsuit pioneer, and if he had the bucks would still be jumping today when well into his 80s. Pete ignores my attempts to establish contact but I am sure he is reading this. Hi Pete, liked your very recent letter to the editor of the Santa Rosa newspaper regarding the war in Libya.
