docjohn 0 #1 June 4, 2008 Does anyone out there have the January 1964 issue of PARACHUTIST? We now have every cover photo from January 1963 thru present with the exception of the January 1964 issue. You can view the archive at: http://manifestmaster.com/parachutist/years.html but we need the January 1964 cover. PARACHUTIST actually dates back to 1959 (or earlier?) but it didn't start being published as a magazine until January 1963. Prior to that date, it was more of just a newsletter (as you can see in the archives). I was hoping to someday have every issue on line. We're only one issue away from that goal! Help! cosmobuddy 0 #3 June 4, 2008 Doc, I have the Jan, 1964 issue. It is in my bound book set. I'll scan it the best I can and send it to you. I would have to look through my other library to find the single magazine. If I do, I will send you a better copy. Thanks for keeping the history alive, Fredwww.SkydiveLostPrairie.com
howardwhite 6 #4 June 4, 2008 Hmm.. I thought I filled all the holes in your collection last December when I was at USPA; they have at least two bound collections (one was Bill Ottley's). I have December '63 and December '64 in the set of scans that day. HW
docjohn 0 #5 June 5, 2008 COMPLETE! COMPLETE! Thanks to Fred Sand for sending me the Jan 64 cover. http://manifestmaster.com/parachutist/p_1964.html The collection is finally complete! (well, except for the older newletter type issues) Also mucho thanks to Howard White and Garth Taggart for their contributions. (and sorry Garth for driving the price up on those eBay auctions). Guess I'll have to find a new hobby. Maybe I'll finally learn to sit fly now. Doc http://www.manifestmaster.com/video

Black-slon 0 #9 June 10, 2008 Hello guys, can you tell how to get subscription to "Parashutist"?
howardwhite 6 #10 June 10, 2008 You get Parachutist as part of membership in USPA. I don't think they sell "subscriptions." http://www.uspa.org/publications/index.htm#subscriptions You will probably have to pay more for "foreign" membership/subscription. rainman 0 #11 June 16, 2008 I used to have a (foreign) 'magazine only' subscription for about five years until the USPA discontinued that type of subscription last year. The only way to keep receiving Parachutist was to become a full USPA member. Ramon Rainman
