I'm traveling with Harleygirl to pick up a new tandem rig at UPT. During a tour, Mark K whips out this picture and lets me dupe it on the fly.

Who dis?

What up?

Why would any TI CHIT if this happened??

Of course this is Bill Booth with Connie Simpson and Ted Strong with (I can't recall her name). Probably 1983 before either of them put drouges on the tandem rigs. I think it's over DeLand but I might be mistaken.

Bill has got to tighten those laterals up some.:P

What laterals??? NONE.

I seem to recall a time when they were using bungie laterals.

I'm thinking Mary Jobe.

You're prolly right.
I sent the picture to Ted. Here's part of his answer:
"It was 1984, maybe ‘85 in Deland. My passenger’s first name was Mary, I don’t remember her last name. She was a skydiver and fearless. We must have been humming at least 170+ mph.
"It took us three day/tries to get the picture. We were weathered out the other days. Once we got in the air it was on our first jump. We called it a 2 X 2. Norm Kent took it."

Thanks, Jon. That's the name I couldn't remember.
