zoobrothertom 5 #3 September 12, 2008 I've seen it but I lost that particular brain cell with a name in it! Split stabalizers and looks around 240 sq. ft. is my only help. (maybe a Titan?)____________________________________ I'm back in the USA!!
pchapman 279 #4 September 12, 2008 I dunno either. But the Titan (a 265) had stabs that joined right up to the canopy at the line attachments - the photo shows a gap. So unless something changed, it can't be a Titan. Brake line config is similar though, with the inner brake line being shorter than the rest. Next guess?? jimjumper 25 #5 September 12, 2008 I'll take a guess at maybe a Spirit. Looks a little bigger than a Spirit but the split stabilizers are right.

SStewart 13 #7 September 12, 2008 No, not a Titan although it does look similar except for the split stabilizers. Not a Rascal either, I don't think they started making Rascals until several yers later, I had one as a reserve in the late 80's. Not a spirit either. Not a cloud but it flew like one, not made by Para-flite As I recall it was about 230 sq. ft. Any other guesses?Onward and Upward!

pms07 3 #11 September 13, 2008 It does look like, as I remember, a Viking or Viking Superlite. I had a Viking Superlite and remember it as a fine canopy.
darkwing 5 #12 September 13, 2008 It looks like a Viking to me too. Can't see in the photo, but didn't Vikings have round ports in the bottom skin? Instead of the rectangles in a cloud? -- Jeff My Skydiving History

SStewart 13 #14 September 13, 2008 Bingo! It's a Pioneer Viking super-lite first introduced in 1979. The original Viking was a five cell. The picture was taken in 1982. Onward and Upward!
nitrochute 2 #15 September 13, 2008 Thats a Viking, pioneers knockoff of the very popular paraflite strato cloud.
