patmoore 14 #26 September 24, 2009 Hey Steve, I've been out of the sport a lot longer than I was in it but I'll hit the 50th anniversary of my first jump in a little over three years. That first jump at Orange in 1962 was my birthday present when I turned 16.DZGone.com B-4600, C-3615, D-1814, Gold Wings #326, Diamond Wings #152. JerryBaumchen 1,430 #28 September 25, 2009 Hi fergs, IIRC, Sylvia Winiger ( formerly V-P of National Parachute ) made her first jump in New Guinea also. She is Swiss which always made me think it was rather odd ( actually, the word 'odd' should never be used when concerning jumpers ).
