JohnRich 4 #1 December 23, 2010 While digging through my skydiving closet I ran across a somewhat old parachute with something very unusual on it - a hand-lettered data panel (see the attached photo). That's something I've never seen before anywhere else. It even says: "Made for Jim Watson". So, does anybody know Mr. Watson, I presume?

NovaTTT 2 #3 December 24, 2010 Custom built 300 sq', 5-cell high performance parachute. There might be a market for that! Very enjoyable post, John. Let us know what you find out! I just can't put my toe on it.Most of the things worth doing in the world had been declared impossilbe before they were done. Louis D Brandeis Where are we going and why are we in this basket? I think it's called a five cell because there are only 6 span-wise rows of support lines, such that four of the five "cells" have three chambers each. So what's the official definition of a "cell"? The Aqutron's were also trapezoidal in shape rather than rectangular - the trailing edge was a bit wider than the leading edge. This made them look sort of pigeon-toed in the air.
