"All ready for parachute jump" "Bert White, Parachute Expert, who will attempt to set a new record for parachute jumping at an altitude of 26,000, is shown all dressed up in his equipment for the jump. His chute will be tripped automatically to prevent the possibility of a mishap through extreme cold or fainting in rarifed air. Strapped to him will be a barograph, oxygen equipment and three days supply of food and water. Inasmuch as it is possible to drift fifty or sixty miles, White believed he ought to have some food for an emergency landing in unkown territory". Pretty interesting!
