PhreeZone 20 #1 February 11, 2002 Does anyone know the current requirements to be a S&TA? Our current STA has recently taken up flying and has been around less and less. Sebazz1 2 #2 February 11, 2002 really shouldn't chime in unless you know but.........I think that you are appointed by a regional director. I don't think you need any specific ratings. Just common sense and knowledge of skydiving. I just say this because our new S&TA appears to have common sense and a handful of instructional ratings.
