docjohn 0 #1 March 28, 2014 I found a 1 minute 16mm skydiving movie on eBay, just uploaded it to you tube http://youtu.be/sBytVNkowcM Apparently it was made for the VA. Looks like late 1970's based on the hockey helmets, R2's, belly band pilot chute, and Strato Star. Anybody recognize any of these guys? (the movie has music but it was so cheesy that I edited it out) Doc http://www.manifestmaster.com/video

dzswoop717 5 #4 March 28, 2014 The one guy inside the plane at the begining looks like a very young Chuck Prodey. Only guessing.

NWFlyer 2 #6 March 28, 2014 docjohn Ok, here's the cheesy music version. (I warned you) Wow! "There is only one basic human right, the right to do as you damn well please. And with it comes the only basic human duty, the duty to take the consequences." -P.J. O'Rourke
Tink1717 2 #7 March 29, 2014 Wow!! That was ridiculously cheesy. Even for the 1970's government. Skydivers don't knock on Death's door. They ring the bell and runaway... It really pisses him off. -The World Famous Tink. (I never heard of you either!!) AA #2069 ASA#33 POPS#8808 Swooo 1717

Krip 2 #9 March 29, 2014 Tink1717 Wow!! That was ridiculously cheesy. Even for the 1970's government. dEd 1 #10 May 8, 2014 The dropzone is Elsinore, California and the guy on the right side of the frame about three seconds in l;ooks a lot like GrubbMartin. The starred canopy is a Strato-flyer, aka Stratohammer, so that dates in the mid-70s.
33zulu 22 #11 May 8, 2014 Spotter might indeed be Chuck Prodey while the others are Butch Campbell and Tom Jordan (RIP). Pelican Skydivers.
3331 137 #12 May 11, 2014 This film was done at the Pelican Skydivers DZ in Ridgley Maryland. Everyone in the film was either on or jumped with the Ten Man Speed Star Team “It’s About Time”. I was on the team until moving to Arizona in July 1976. I Jumped with the guys who invented Skydiving.
