skydiveacapulco 0 #1 June 3, 2004 hi here is a question on the vector harness, what is the position of the leg straps and lower connectors, i have seen some harnessing were the leg strap is almost fully extended (avarage size person) and the comfy pads are not touching. personaly i prefer to have the side conectors on the hip and the leg straps and comfy pads that go under the buckles touching. this seams to be the best for me (5ft 2in) regardless of the size of my passengers!. i hope i have described this well enough! any ideas? blue skiesblue sky sand and sun. tspillers 0 #3 June 4, 2004 If you look at www.relativeworkshop.com they have an explanation with pictures. Basically it will vary depending on the passenger. average to small passengers the hip junction should be slightly in front of the hip bone. For larger students they should be beside the hip. This is the newer style harness. (Been out for about 6 years or so). Todd I am not totally useless, I can be used as a bad example.
aiellosky 0 #4 June 29, 2004 I would highly recomend that u use the sigma harness. Fits better. Its much more confortable for the passenger/student and makes easier for them to lift their legs on landing... Also eliminates the problem of students blacking out cause their arent hanging by their legs anymore...and blocking the blood circulation on their legs. Feel free to contact me with any question Luis Aiello T I/E RWS
