abombss 0 #1 January 26, 2002 I am a new Skydiver, I just got my A this summer and I have about 30 jumps under my belt. Due to the winter season I have not been able to get a jump in since early Nov. 2001. What safety measures should I take before I get in the air for my next jump? Jimbo 0 #2 January 26, 2002 I think at this point your DZ will (should) require you to do a refresher ground school and at least one supervised jump. Go over your emergency procedures and make sure you remember how to arch. Once you get back in the air you'll see it's kind of like riding a bicycle and it will all come back to you.Good luck.-Jim
Jumperpaula 0 #3 January 27, 2002 Plus most dropzones hold a "safety day" in March. Get everyone together, refresh, think safe. Ask your DZ if they are planning a Safety Day. It'll do you wonders to get together and talk about Safety before your real season starts. Fly Your Slot !
