vector 2 tandem vs next tandem ?

i have recently been converted to next and vector tandem ratings.

i love the next. it is tidy bugger all velcro and it looks like a sport rig. the harness is a bit funny though, i cant seem to get the top attachments so they are not loose. it seems to be designed so you can move the student forward after the drouge is deployed to make the pair more horizontal?

i am wondering if it is legal to use a vector 2 harness on the next? ideally i would like to jump sigma but i dont call the shots on that one.

anyone out there jump both vector2 and next?

also i cant seem to get the secondary handle on the vector2 to sit nicely any suggestions would be much appreciated.

I typically jump Sigmas, but occasionally jump a Vector tandem system. When I do as such, I tend to place the secondary handle on the top of my legstrap or on the lateral so the handle is in a very similar place as the Sigma handle and similar to a BOC handle (sort of) for the student.

Let me clarify exactly what I was saying about on the leg strap...above the buckle. I know that's pretty obvious, but you never know who's reading these posts.

Cheers for the tip bro, at first i had the handle awfully close to the drogue handle but today i moved it so it is on the outside of my thigh. the hard housing is in a straighter line now too so less chance of a hard pull.
