steveorino 7 #1 January 23, 2006 Okay, not my best, but my most recent. Let's see pictures of those instructors EARNING their money! steveOrino
OATSF14 0 #2 January 23, 2006 I can only imagine the amount of adrenaline flowing thru the veins of these three. (not to mention the poop of the student)
steveorino 7 #3 January 23, 2006 it was quite a ride! Actually, the student finally got stable and was able to proceed. Made for an interesting video though! steveOrino
Andy9o8 2 #4 January 23, 2006 That's the best shot of an "OH MY GOD" expression I've seen in a long time. For those who advocate doing a tandem or a couple S/L before AFF, this shot could be used to illustrate the point.
MB38 0 #5 January 23, 2006 Quoteit was quite a ride! Actually, the student finally got stable and was able to proceed. Made for an interesting video though! So now the real question... did the student graduate to the next level? I really don't know what I'm talking about. steveorino 7 #6 January 23, 2006 Yes, his exit SUCKED, but he did "ok" on everything else. They figure they're stil gripping him on exit on level 2. His exits will get better. ... I guess. Truthfully, I believe he was a one-shot skydiver from the word go. He took his 1st jump course MONTHS ago and had to be retrained. He seemed clueless to me when we dirt dived, but what do I know? I'm only a coach and vidiot. steveOrino
kelpdiver 2 #7 January 24, 2006 QuoteYes, his exit SUCKED, but he did "ok" on everything else. They figure they're stil gripping him on exit on level 2. His exits will get better. ... I guess. Is that unusual? My diveflows didn't have them letting go of me until midway thru level 3, and no ungripped exits until 5. Was that pic taken on the hill? I never quite inverted, but the sensation of being vertical at that point was very confusing to me. Nice sharpness, btw.
Reginald 0 #8 January 24, 2006 Just looks like a fun ride to me and a chance to practice a roll over too!"We've been looking for the enemy for some time now. We've finally found him. We're surrounded. That simplifies things." CP
steveorino 7 #9 January 25, 2006 It is in the old levels (not sure about the new categories off the top of my head) Level 3 (or 4??) they let go. Yes, it was on the hill. steveOrino

matthewcline 0 #13 January 28, 2006 All my "earning the money" shots are on the Skydive Paris Tn web page. Can't get them to attach here though. I am the TM in dark blue, royal blue and in the tie dye freefly suit.An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!! Trae 1 #14 January 29, 2006 Them shuttle cocks are real stable too. Student wondering where the I's have gone and dumps?
stratostar 5 #15 January 29, 2006 Thanks for the flowers altichick. Trae, Student see's "arch signal" when checking his dial, so as trained he arches harder.Too bad the signal wasn't from the instructors ! mdrejhon 8 #16 January 29, 2006 Quote Okay, not my best, but my most recent. It looks like he arched and then fell like an anvil unexpectedly. Did you all funnel after you did handstands (it sure looks close to that) and if so, what happened to the student after that? Just curious about details. stratostar 5 #17 January 29, 2006 Yea he arched and took them for a ride for about 1800 ft just like in the photo, then both jm's popped into their slots for a stable 3-way, the chunk was stable the whole dive, just made for a good shot, so I took it.Really I was laughing and just happened to bite my trigger.
