rmcvey 0 #1 December 16, 2001 I have attempted to download various manuals from the PD website. When i get them on my word processer and try to print them, a few pages seem to be mixed up and it generally seems wrong, (pictures missing etc.)Is this my poor computer skills letting me down again or are there manuals wrong???any help would be nice. freeflir29 0 #2 December 16, 2001 Did you make sure to open the programs with the proper program? I noticed some are word documents and others Adobe. Make sure that your computer is using adobe to open adobe documents."Carb Heat On....Carb Heat On.....Carb Heat On..."-Phil Polstra Clay
Geoff 0 #3 December 17, 2001 I had the same problem with the main and reserve manuals (word docs). I would guess they were created with some other word processor and then converted to word docs, and a lot of the formatting went AWOL in the process.Geoff
larry 0 #4 December 18, 2001 I have seen this at my work with very large Word documents, what is really happening is that the printer itself does not have enough memory to buffer the entire document. To get around this we download and use PCL drivers as opposed to PS ones. Go to the printer manufactures web page and see if there are any PCL drivers available.Hope that helped.(I’m assuming the documents look ok when reading them on the computer, but are messed up when trying to print them. If this is not the case then this is not your problem, something else must be going on.)Larry
