Visa 0 #1 August 13, 2008 Anyone have an experience of JAD/IAD student training from Cassna Caravan? Has it been done, is it safe/possible. Skydivingclub of Finland just sold Twinotter and going to have Cessna Grandcaravan instead. We are getting more and more to AFF but JAD training have still quite of much demand. Now we are seeking for information is somebody is using or have used IAD/JAD Caravan training combination. All informatin wellcome. phoenixlpr 0 #2 August 13, 2008 Ask Putki! They were preparing for that, and did some test drops too. I was told that timing was quite tight for preparing and checking 3 students from 300m to ~1000m in ~2 minutes.
lifesatrip 0 #3 August 13, 2008 We do S/L out of our Grand Caravan during the week and on weekends when it isn't busy enough to bring in a pilot for our U206. Doing S/L we can get 3 out on 1 pass. We get them out at 4000' so it makes the ground controller a lot of work but it does space them out a little
livendive 8 #4 August 13, 2008 There's a little bit of helpful information in this thread, buried amid a bunch of stuff that doesn't help at all. Blues, Dave"I AM A PROFESSIONAL EXTREME ATHLETE!" (drink Mountain Dew)
