Tunnels near/in Ohio

Hi all,
I am real new to skydiving and got a late start last year so I wanted to start of on the right foot this year and get some time in a tunnel before the season starts. So I've been looking around and found out there is a tunnel in Pigeon Forge, TN. Has anyone been to this one? How is it? Are all tunnels relatively the same? Or, does anyone know of a tunnel closer to the Cincinnati, OH area? I know Greensburg used to have one but it's not there anymore. Thanks in advance with any help you can provide.

I've spent quite a few minutes flying at flyaway PF.. it's alot of fun and a great time. You can buy a book of 5 flights and get some good practice in. It's a relaxed environment and very beginner friendly. All the tunnels aren't the same.. Flyaway is a propeller driven tunnel and what that REALLY means is that the air is not solid and it's a bit choppy and USUALLY a bit slower than FAN driven tunnels. Fan driven tunnels like SkyVenture or AAC are much more efficient and produce FREEFALL like winds and are much more efficient for freefall training.

The closest one to you for that is AAC in North Carolina, just one hour from Pigeon Forge. For a FULL experience, you should check BOTH of them out! Coaching is included in the price of flights at BOTH locations..

Remember, have fun!!! The greensburg tunnel is now in Houston Texas and is called Adren-L-N.. it will be (fingers crossed) at the WFFC again this year, so perhaps you can come on over and check that one out then.. and spend a day at the COOLEST convention ever!!!

Ohio sucks, move to FL... I did!!! Pigeon Forge is supposed to have great scenery and camping. Sounds great for a weekend trip!

Come visit me in Orlando! It's not far from Cinci, the highway is right there!! Mickey rocks too!
