With the time flown this weekend - scheduled - and the unexpected time flown due to doing two ways - I can now say that my tunnel time is 5 hours 10 minutes to date. Paige 0 #5 April 8, 2005 Ohhhh, Ari and I had a business trip on Sat. and Sun. We were flying home from Vegas. We didn't get in till 12am Sun/Mon. It was a last min. thing, his brother adopted a baby and had to go pick him up so we filled in for him. Man was it rough, but we made it through! I now have 101+ business cards to follow up on next week I collected more than my boss did at his last conference so I think that's a good thing. Ok, my update: 5 more hours at Appalachian Amusement Center in North Carolina!!! With another hour coming on Saturday night (Boogie Nights) OMG.. three days ago I did 2 hours.. now don't laugh, but I was trying to look like a RW'er. So, for 2 hours I worked on the Mantis position.. HOLY CRAP THAT IS HARD!!!!! I mean, way too much work!!! I've never been so sore in my LIFE!!! And when I say 2 hours, I mean STRAIGHT THROUGH, we don't stop or take breaks.. not flying when the air is passing by is a SIN in my world!!! Anyway, I'll stick to my tunnelrat body position, but I just wanted to say I have new respect for the extra work you guys do to fly in the mantis position! Whew!!! I would have very much enjoyed meeting anyone in the area. A couple people wrote notes intending to visit, but no one made it this time except those involved in the camp. 2 - We might have met two years ago at like 2 am at the Orlando tunnel during a "Tunnel Challenge". It was very cool to watch that hour where 16 or so people were crowded into the bench area and took turns showing off their stuff. For some reason I thought you were there. I could be wrong. Paige 0 #15 April 19, 2005 Ahhhh, a tunnel traveling I have been...This past THURS_SUN it was: Skyventure Orlando (wed) L1 NC (fri & sat) FlyAway Pigeon Forge TN (sun.) Skyventure Orlando (sun. after 9 hr car ride) Below is the list of the past 2.5 weeks for us. Flew to Vegas and drove the rest. Man I'm beat.
