skytash 0 #1 November 6, 2005 I found the 'green' parking area yesterday, which is free . It's by the garden centre and the Premier Inn opposite the main Xscape entrance the other end of the mall from the tunnel. You do have to cross a main road, to get to Xscape/airkix but if you are like me and want to spend your money on tunnel time and water to hydrate, it's another option! tashDon't ever save anything for a special occasion. timbarrett 0 #3 November 7, 2005 if you go to the reception for the ski-slope and tell them you are playing at airkix all day they will give you a 1 pound all-day pass and with that you can park right outside the front door."Work hard, play hard and don't whinge"

skytash 0 #7 November 30, 2005 and you didn't get a ticket? I'm too scared to be clamped or towed to risk not doing the whole pay and display thing. wiggy101 0 #8 November 30, 2005 I've just t back from my first tunnel experience at Airkix and it was awesome!! Got 10 mins with a coach and learnt loads!! About the car parking, I think you only need to pay before 6pm, after that it's free. We got there at about 8 and left at 9.30. Pretty sure the sign said free after 6pm or something. . . kylethomas 0 #9 December 1, 2005 Well I also have a money saving tip!! Go to Bodyflight and you get free parking, a bigger tunnel, the same great service and if you buy that sort of time it can work out cheaper!! Not that airkix is a bad tunnel, I had a great time at both places!!Kyle Thomas
hkf 0 #10 December 1, 2005 Can't argue with that if you're a flat flyer. But for freeflying the air at Airkix is SOMETHIN ELSE...

kylethomas 0 #12 December 1, 2005 Agreed that the air would be great for freeflying. It seems faster and harder...... As I said I like both tunnels but in my opinion if you want to do some serious 4-way blocks the room at bedord makes it a whole lot easier when your a 6ft3 guy like me!!! Dont get me wrong I had a great 4-way going in Airkix too.....it just all depends on what you want personally!Kyle Thomas
nigelh 0 #13 December 1, 2005 Check out the thread on Bedford being adjusted, The Freeflying staff have definately noticed a change, Nigel-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~ Sponored by NZ Aerosports, CYPRES 2, Tonfly & L&B Team Dirty Sanchez #
hkf 0 #14 December 1, 2005 Seen the thread, if Bedford can generate the speed (pressure) that Airkix can then it will undoubtedly be the ultimate package
