PhreeZone 20 #2 August 29, 2001 The USPA does not currently have an Official Freefly Coach rating. All most all world class freeflyers (Olav + The Clowns, Flyboyz, Orbit Punks, Ect.) offer coaching at their home DZ. I highly recommend Freefly Chicagos program. I saw some huge improvements in some people while I was there.Do I HAVE to do another raft dive??? I don't think it would be such a bad idea, because I've seen some people out there "teaching" freeflying that shouldn't be jumping with low timers.. If you want to become a good freefly coach, you need to establish a reputation at your DZ first.....and by that, I mean a GOOD reputation! At a couple of the DZ's in my area, there are freefly coaches that just became well known kick ass freeflyers, and started coaching.. Nobody hesitates to send anybody to 'em, because we know they are awesome freeflyers and coaches.. Just remember - just because somebody can fly their ass off doesn't mean they can teach worth a damn..Mike
 Join the conversation You can post now and register later.
