DZBone 0 #2 August 27, 2001 Gear up, but instead of getting on the plane, get on a scale. Alternatively, get on the plane, but exit before it takes off and hop on a scale.Don't forget helmet, goggles, gloves, etc.
Snowflake 0 #3 August 27, 2001 ok now do I subtract the weight of my main?JG
PhreeZone 20 #4 August 27, 2001 Nope... all weight is needed to figure wing loading. Do airplanes not figure the weight of their wings in their takeoff weight? Do I HAVE to do another raft dive??? Unless you tell us the weight of your clothing and each piece of gear and your body weight, then no, we can't really tell you your exit weight other than guessing about 20-25lbs over your body weight. You don't need to figure anything out, just gear up and hop on the scale.cielos azules y cerveza fría-Kevin
 freeflir29 0 #8 August 28, 2001 "just gear up and hop on the scale."Or wait until the carnival comes to town and let that guy guess your exit weight. I think it worked. I'll have to try it again. Thanks!ciels-m"What of the dreams that never die?
