rehmwa 2 #1 March 31, 2006 I have a camp out April 6-10 We've been lucky the last few years, never any bad weather other than a couple gusty days. I have no idea of the weather forecast, but the rest of the country is seeing cycles of heavy rain lately. Does the tunnel draw much moisture up when it's raining? I'd think not as the draw below the lip isn't that fast, but would like to know so I can plan an extra jumpsuit and extra changes of clothes. ... TheCaver 0 #2 March 31, 2006 I've only been once when it was raining, and I never got wet. I think you're correct in that at the bottom of the tunnel, the pressure is so low that it doesn't have the strength to pull in rain. However, I have been hit on a couple of occasions by small insects (which sting pretty good if hit on bare skin :) . I'm sure Mike will chime in soon with the official word.... It was through tunnelcamp.com and Brannon arranged some evening time for us. High winds + bright light + white suit = polka dotted suit. Paige 0 #4 March 31, 2006 You'll get plenty wet if it's pouring. It sucks it up for sure. I've come out soaked and not really known it. The SVO team is great, too, Chris and Alex and Rusty took incredibly good care of our two non-jumpers (one of which is my little girl) and they learned tons. so.....very......tired so.....very......satisfied ...
