jtval 0 #1 November 19, 2006 In the next year or so I may be moving to a place where a skyventure is close to home .... But I am going to miss the hell out of Flyaway. I am just getting to the point where I can kick off the walls etc, and I LOVE Flying on the edge of the air. I LOVE being able to Get back in after a manuever up high. It's become second nature to get my center of gravity IN THE AIR. That control factor is unavailable in SV tunnels. Plus, I got a good group of staff therewho hook me up for bring groups in on a regular occasion. Something I suspect is not going to happen at a SV tunnel. I just felt like telling you all.... Evelyn 0 #2 November 27, 2006 Hey JT, I totally hear ya. I love Flyaway Vegas. When I got stuck on my level 4 AFF we didn't yet have the Perris tunnel, so I went to Vegas and spent the day coaching with Keith. Went back to Perris and aced my level 4. Kept in touch with Keith and he was my cheerleader for the rest of my AFF. Went back later, after I was a somewhat experienced skydiver and learned to sitfly in the Vegas tunnel with Katie and Keith. Good experience cuz you've gotta stay in the middle of the air. Yeah, the Perris tunnel is great, but I still LOVE the Vegas tunnel for the people and how much they helped me. Paige 0 #3 November 27, 2006 I second everything the above posters say. Flyaway Las Vegas is one of my top 3 tunnels and I LOVE GOING THERE! How can you beat Vegas when there's a tunnel there also? You can fly your ass off during the day and into the night, then hit up the clubs and do the Vegas night life. I miss everyone out there so Ari and I are planning another trip sooner than later. PM me if you are interested in heading out there with us. We're shooting for May again for our B-days. I'll be sure to keep anyone who is interested posted on our dates and such.
