LouDiamond 1 #3 June 21, 2007 Look into a Firefly tunnel suit. They are used by all the staff at Skydive Arizona's tunnel and by several different Military groups specifically for tunnel flying. I highly recommend them."It's just skydiving..additional drama is not required" Some people dream about flying, I live my dream SKYMONKEY PUBLISHING
Stumpy 284 #4 June 21, 2007 What kind of tunnel? Are you looking for something to increase your lift, i.e. ZP? or is it a really powerful tunnel and you just need a suit to fly in? Lots of manufacturers do good suits, most people on here will just name what they use and say its the best. I think the number of ZP suits however are still a bit more limited and specialist.Never try to eat more than you can lift
RossDagley 0 #5 June 23, 2007 ZP suits give amazing lift and power and can be worn much "tighter" than traditional suits, and therefore dont drag you round the tunnel like a more traditional baggy suit might. Boogieman, Tonysuit, and Ouragan all make ZP suits (there may be others) but they do have their downsides - mainly that the material is delicate and can tear easily on a snag on the net for example, and can't be patched easily. For an experienced freeflyer, they're super nice. I'd certainly not recommend one for someone learning... anything.
Paige 0 #6 June 23, 2007 Ouragan Suits ZP Tunnel Suits are amazing. I have 2 of them that I love! The ZP is like adding after burners, the material is very powerful. I think you would be fine learning in a ZP suit. I learned in mine and didn't have any issues with tears or rips in my suit. Then again Nancy and her workers construct durable ZP suits, the best out there in my opinion. djd 0 #7 June 23, 2007 Quote Ouragan Suits ZP Tunnel Suits are amazing. Check out their website www.OuraganSuits.com 100% agree its not just about lift but how suits fly... ive had 3 different tunnel suits (no names)and none give me as much lift or flys as nice. you fly this suit not the other way round....it makes every move i do easier..... ok plug plug plug can i have a discount on my next one now please.....lol... if there is a downside its the cost and wait.... but you get what you pay for and now they have moved some of the operation to Canada so the times may have come down from 4 months.. amazing suits though well well worth the wait.... blue ones to you all...... dave..
