tunnelmom 0 #20 December 6, 2008 Hi Everyone-- Just a quick reminder that tomorrow is the last day to register and receive the early bird discount! Happy Holidays!
tunnelmom 0 #21 December 27, 2008 Hi Everyone! Just a quick update for everyone with one month to go and counting for the Summitt Challenge. If you missed the early bird discount, please try and have your registrations in by no later than January 15th. This will help the event organizers to plan ahead and provide more specific scheduling information ahead of time. It will also give you the opportunity to register for the Huck Jam and to pre schedule your discounted training time ($9.50/per minute). You must be registered for the competition to sign up for the huck jam/discounted tunnel time ($9.50/minute). The first Pro Huck jam session is already filled, so we have replaced the intermediate huck jam with a second pro huck jam, the additiional Huck Jam is nearly full as well. The Pro Huck Jam will run from 6-8pm Friday evening. The Huck Jam registration is on a first come first serve basis, so please don't forget to sign up for the Friday night session when you register. You must be registered for the competition to sign up for the Huck Jam. There were 24 spaces available and there are now 4 spots remaining. Once the Friday evening huck jam has filled up, we will consider adding an additional hour on Friday or we may add a Thursday evening huck jam as well. Training time will fill up quickly for the event-- so don't forget to call in to SkyVenture Colorado after you register to schedule your training time at the discounted rate of $9.50/minute. It is best to call in to schedule this time as soon as you send in your registration forms so that you can get the times that work best with your travel schedules. We will be completing the draw and scheduling "warm up" times for Friday evening. The primary purpose of the warm up time is to determine what wind speed your team would like to fly at for each event. The draw/warmups will occur from 8pm to 10 pm Friday evening immediately following the Huck Jam. We strongly encourage teams to take advantage of the warm up time. There will be an opportunity for you to pre schedule your warm up time slot just prior to the event. Happy New Year everyone!
tunnelmom 0 #22 January 4, 2009 In order to keep this event as organized as possible, the last day to register for the Summit Challenge is January 21st. Having registrations in as early as possible will allow the organizers to put together schedules and additional information prior to the event. Event schedules will be posted by January 26th. We have over 30 teams registered for the event so far and are still anticipating additional registrations. If you have not sent in your registration, please send it in prior to January 21st. Credit cards for registrations received in January will not be charged until January 25th.

tunnelmom 0 #24 January 7, 2009 Just a quick clarification-- the list of participants mentioned in the last post is just the list of those people participating in the Huck Jam. We will put together a full list of registered teams with team members by the end of next week. Right now, there are around 37 teams for the Summit Challenge with several weeks left to go before the cutoff.
tunnelmom 0 #25 January 10, 2009 Hi Everyone, Thanks to all of you for getting your registrations in for the Summitt Challenge! Due to the huge response we have had for this event, there are very few spots remaining. With 40 teams regisitered so far, we can only accomodate a few additional teams. Space will be allotted on a first come first serve basis, and when we have reached capacity for the event, we will go to a wait list for additional teams. There is a little bit of training time left for Wednesday and Thursday, so if you signed up for reduced rate training time, make sure you call the tunnel at 303-768-9000 to book your exact time slot. This has been booking up very fast. We also have 4 huck Jams scheduled-- the times are as follows: Wednesday January 28th 8:30 to 9:30 pm- a few spots are still available Thursday January 29th 9:00pm to 10:00pm -- sold out Friday January 30th 6pm to 8pm-- sold out If anyone would like to register for the Wednesday Huck Jam, please email me. The cost is $47.50 for 1 hour of shared time. Events on Saturday and Sunday will begin at 7:45 am and go through until 4pm. The party will be on Saturday evening-- it will include a catered barbeque dinner and drinks. We will be posting an exact schedule and additional information soon, so watch this space! Please feel free to contact me via phone or email with any questions. Jennifer
