mjharris 0 #1 February 2, 2009 long story short....had rotator cuff surgery about a year ago...apparently i didn't dislocate my shoulder (maybe i did but popped it back in before the ER room) but if i did they tightened somethings up in the shoulder area from the injury, doc says should be good to skydive..... I was doing my AFF jumps got to near the end (doing barrel rolls and flips). I want to get back in the air but i've been thinking of doing some tunnel time beforehand to refresh the skills and make sure not to much pressure is put on the area so the question is...... Which place do you think is best to practice flying Paraclete XP SkyVenture in (NC) or Flyaway INdoor (pigeon forge, TN)....both are about the same distance of drive for me. thanks -mickey

DanG 1 #3 February 2, 2009 Paraclete is a skydiving simulator. Flyaway is an amusement park ride. Go to Paraclete and let the instructors know your situation (better yet call ahead and talk to someone other that the booking girl). You won't be disappointed, it's awesome. - Dan G

VegasBrad 0 #6 February 3, 2009 Paraclete is hands down a better skydiving simulator, but please don't call Flyaway and amuesment park ride. Just because the tunnel is old doesn't mean we don't fly our bodies....Brad Hess Manager Vegas Indoor Skydiving
