Getting to Freezone Moscow from Kolomna

I'm possibly going to go to Aerograd Kolomna in August for some jumping and figure it would be a shame not to put in some tunnel time at the 12' Freezone too given that it is so damn cheap compared to the tunnels in the UK.

Having just google mapped the distances between the 2 places, it is just under 2hrs travel to the tunnel from the DZ.

I won't be hiring a car while out there, so want ot know how easy and how expensive it is to get to the tunnel. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only person to have wanted to do this, but I couldn't see anything with a quick search on here....


Edit in: Stupidly I never thought to look on the Aerograd website... see that they can organise trasfer to/from the tunnel and DZ. Doesn't say the cost though, so that is the info I'd quite like to know. Cheers!

Hello Man,

I checked with Moscow Region Public Transportation Portal upon any direct transport lines between Kolomna - Chehov or neighbourhood where Freezone is.
The answer is : there are no public demend for such a transportation root .
Alternative is : 3 buses with 2 hours schedule difference each, up to 6 hours one way (are you kidding me? <;) ) or use moscow as a transit point.

So, you have 3 options to cover kolomna-freezone distance.

1. Taxi ~ starting 2000r/60$ - one way
2. Catch up with guys going to aerograd or freezone
(managable case for summer)
3. Reach destination point through Moscow via Bus or Train .

Remmber, Freezone mini van cruses moscow-tunnel twise a day , plan ur jorney in advance .


Any way , August is so far away,

For Russia its enought time to build 4th, 25 ft Tunnel on a Red Square , just for fun ;D lol
