Chris-Ottawa 0 #3 August 12, 2009 I have a good friend that works at the tunnel...he might be able to recommend a few hotels that offer "hourly" rates? Hahha, but I'm serious....."When once you have tasted flight..."

Amazing pub crawl, great rooms, good food, amazing location, lots of hot girls....oh and did i tell you about their pub crawl? If you go to party, thats awesome. If you go to a tunnel camp, it sucks: - Its downtown (without traffic, about 30-45 minutes from the tunnel. In traffic, closer to 1 hour 30); - you'd be leaving your gear either in your car parked on the street or in your shared room; - most HI hostels close early (dont know about that one in particular tho). If your tunnel time ends at 11pm or later, by the time you get back, you may be SOL. Priceline may be a good bet if you want something close to the tunnel, as the ones on Laval will all be close to that area if you select Laval as the sub-area for Montreal. Otherwise, Expedia had a good rate on the Econolodge on Laval.Remster
shah269 0 #6 August 12, 2009 These guys are open late, I know I've come back at 4 am before. But then again my friends and I were all in one room. There are lockers in the basement where you can lock up your gear. And from the hostel to the tunnel? 30min by car or 30min by subway. We took the subway. There is a realy nice out door mall there so we had lunch.Life through good thoughts, good words, and good deeds is necessary to ensure happiness and to keep chaos at bay. Sandro29 0 #7 August 19, 2009 Ask the tunnel about which hotels they deal with. I know there is a discount for Skyventure clients, but I just cant remember the name of the hotel...it's just around the corner from the tunnel. If at first you don't succeed....then Skydiving is not for you!
