chrjensen 0 #1 June 15, 2010 Hi there, does anyone know if there is any wind tunnels (where private people can reserve time) located in Brazil? I have a friend that is going to Brazil in half a years time, and for his graduation we are a group that are thinking on giving him a gift certificate for time in a wind tunnel as part of this trip. Any help will be much appriciated, thanks!
VegasBrad 0 #2 June 18, 2010 I went to Brazil a couple years ago and did a lot of looking for tunnels down there, even had my Brazilian girlfriend search Portuguese language sites. There is a Skyventure tunnel somewhere, probably near Sao Paulo, that is owned by the military but is rumored to allow the public one day a week or one day a month. I didn't have any luck contacting them. There was supposedly portable tunnel located at a dropzone outside Sao Paulo, but it had moved or was no longer operational by the time I got there. I plan to return to Brazil in December and will be looking in to it again, if I have more luck this time I'll make a post.Brad Hess Manager Vegas Indoor Skydiving

drunk 0 #4 June 18, 2010 This is the only wind tunnel in Brazil, located in Goiania, GO. AFAIK it's mostly used for military training and it is open to the general public only on Saturdays.
