BigBUG 0 #1 September 13, 2016 Hi everyone, I decided to create this little poll, trying to figure out what suits today's students best and what is their goals when they are looking for a tunnel coach and tunnel time. I have to say that I try to incorporate everything in a coaching. I do believe that you should start moving around as soon as you have some basic knowledge in this particular position - your skills will become better way faster. On the other hand, if you are skydiver and know perfectly well what you want from the tunnel (like, I want to work on my HU docks or my HD transitions) I probably shouldn't be concentrated on completely different stuff like carving? So I decided to ask tunnel flyers here - do you have a specific plan when you are looking for a tunnel and a coach? Please share your opinions. It will help us to be better coaches and in the end helps you to be better flyers. Thanks.
KRBKV 0 #2 September 13, 2016 Full tHrust in a coach sounds powerful! :) How a student could recognize whether his/her couch is full thrust coach or not? :)
NWPoul 1 #3 September 13, 2016 While I know the reason why "I decided to create this little poll"it's still strange why there is only 2.5 optionsI bet you met students which want it all Why drink and drive, if you can smoke and fly?

PhreeZone 20 #6 September 13, 2016 My issue is I would love to learn Dynamic but with the nearest tunnel at nearly 400 miles its just not feasible due to the need for currency and sheer amounts of time needed to fly anything other than static. Since I only get to do 2-3 hours a year in 4-5 trips its really hard to learn too much. I just hope a tunnel eventually goes in closer to me Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com
NWPoul 1 #7 September 13, 2016 PhreeZone ... I just hope a tunnel eventually goes in closer to me Unfortunately you have IFLy and weird patent barriers for rising of amounts of good tunnels and reducing prices... Sad but true so please wait for a few years and may be we'll come;)Why drink and drive, if you can smoke and fly?
KRBKV 0 #8 September 14, 2016 It happens. Not a big deal. :) But i see big potential. An embroidery on the suit or decal on the helmet or even more a warning message on the screen in the tunnel: full thrust instructor here! :)
BigBUG 0 #9 September 14, 2016 ok, ok, now everybody will roast me instead of taking poll :)
wan2doit 6 #10 September 14, 2016 What is does "full thrust" instructor mean? - I'm wondering if thrust should be trust (trust meaning to have a lot of faith in something).
KRBKV 0 #11 September 14, 2016 Yes, it should mean trust. Small mistake. I'm just messing a little bit with the words. ;)
BigBUG 0 #12 September 14, 2016 That's correct. For some reason system does not allow me to edit poll posts, so I couldn't fix the mistake.
danielcroft 2 #13 September 14, 2016 If the option was full "trust" I'd have picked something else...
