guineapiggie101 0 #1 May 1, 2013 Someone recently mentioned to me that I could get involved in tandem competitions. Can someone tell me more about it (what it involves, costs, etc). Recently, I was awarded a restricted A-license with the help of some excellent DZ friends at Elsinore.

pchapman 279 #3 May 3, 2013 I'm just curious what kind of restricted "A" you were able to get. From old posts, I remember you had some struggles in skydiving.
SkymonkeyONE 4 #4 May 3, 2013 I've never heard of a "tandem competition". What are you talking about?
normiss 806 #5 May 4, 2013 The only one I ever saw was when SOCOM was trying to do accuracy jumps onto a large yellow X. They weren't really using the X - so all of us tandem instructors starting jumping tandem accuracy. They got pissed and took their X and stomped off. Winning.
