pullwhat 0 #29 October 30, 2013 I have several teammates up in Hollister that use the poles for there tandem video. So far none of them had any issues cutting away and landing safely or entanglement. Notice that the guy in the video had the strap looped around his wrist. The lesson about attaching things to yourself was learnt many years ago (ripcord stops) and has been learnt by quite a few who attached themselves to things like flags, smoke canisters and the like. Entanglements can still happen, and still kill people. Having lots of tandem experience does not make this suddenly a good idea. If it catches on in a big way people will die.
