Politics forum

Hey, you guys here at rec.skydiving Lite.
How about a politics forum? Maybe if there was a moderated forum that will not allow personal attacks, we could get a lot of response from BOD candidates, and they could have a shot at getting their message out.
What ya think?

So, you're thinking USPA issues and not U.S. government issues (other than skydiving), right?
When I first saw the "Politics" in the title I was thinking the other way 'round, but this makes at least a bit o' sense.

I didn't say it was hard to figure out. You eventually did clarify your position.
We -do- talk about GWB and other politicos from time to time, so when you said "politics" I would imagine that's what most people would have thought about first -- me included.

Wow.... we should try harder to be like rec.skydiving so we can be "heavy".... yeah right!
Seriously though, I think it's a good idea but I think there's at least a dozen forums that I'll put up before I create a politics forum. Politics is for the USPA and the likes - they are welcome to create that service for skydivers on their site - isn't that what we pay them for?

There's more interesting forums to have up before politics eg. BASE, and maybe a boobie forum as well .
