Beachbum 0 #1 September 17, 2004 First ... I don't have a problem with posts being moved (mine, or otherwise). I guess I am having a problem with understanding the categories though, since I do endeavor to put a post in the correct forum, but have had one moved. I posted about my return to the air/currency jump, and placed it in the "general skydiving" forum. The description on that one contains this: "If it's not related to skydiving, please post in the Bonfire or Speaker's Corner.". Well, I kind of thought that making a jump IS skydiving related? The description for the "Bonfire" (where it was moved to) includes "This is the place for non-skydiving related discussions.". Can you see where my confusion arises?? Are the descriptions too vague, am I misunderstanding them, moderators misunderstanding them ... what?? thanks! As long as you are happy with yourself ... who cares what the rest of the world thinks? PhreeZone 20 #2 September 17, 2004 Its been talked about that if the topic is more about you then its best in Bonfire, if its a question or situations its better in General.Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com
slotperfect 7 #3 September 17, 2004 I suggest you PM the Mods in that forum for clarification so the very pertinent questions you posed here are effectively answered. The Mods in General are Me, billvon, and SkymonkeyONE. I didn't move it, so that narrows it down. Bear in mind that the Mods are not required to tell you why they do things, but I think you may have good results on this one!
