tdbuzz 0 #1 November 23, 2004 Can the Parasport Italia Z1 EVO helmet be added to the gear reviews? If yes, here is a review. The padded liner looks like it is washable. The liner itself acts as the “loop” for the adhesive backed “hook” Velcro that is attached to the inside of the helmet’s shell. This makes adjusting the padding position easier than some low-end helmets that require matching up to halves of a Velcro strip. The colored shell is hard yet flexible. The color goes all the way through it so when you inevitably scratch it, its not so evident. The black edge that surrounds the rim of the hard shell is soft and flexible. It extends only about 25mm back into the hard shell. This surely helps to keep the helmet lightweight. This helmet might be considered for use with a camera because it has relatively flat sides. I decided not to try it. Also, I don’t know if a ring sight could be securely attached directly to the soft black forehead of the helmet. The strap’s padding can be removed for cleaning. The buckle for the strap is made of metal and is very secure. I can’t imagine this buckle ever releasing by accident. I’ve never had to make an emergency release of a helmet in the past. If that is a concern, don’t plan on even being able to do so with this one. When I applied a just slight amount of pull on the strap, the buckle was impossible to release.I may be getting older, but I refuse to grow up.

yoink 321 #3 November 24, 2004 In order to post in the reviews section, there needs to be a heading for it to go under.... fortunately, now there is. Feel free to add your review, and if you could send me a wider shot of the whole helmet, I'd be happy to put it up. yoink
