AggieDave 6 #1 March 27, 2005 HH, Would it be too hard to add online/offline/invisible into the full profile view, what you get when you click on the user's name? I think it might add a bit to knowing if/when your PM might be answered or when a reply in a thread might occur.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." slotperfect 7 #2 March 27, 2005 I agree it would be helpful there . . . You can find it by doing a username search - it appears in your results.Arrive Safely John

Yes, you can also find it on "who's online" and a Ctrl+F search, but I'm lazy and want simple solutions on the internet sometimes.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." pilotdave 0 #5 March 28, 2005 ctrl+f? That is SO 1999. Get firefox and turn on the search as you type feature. You just start typing and it searches the page as you type. Single best feature of firefox. Dave
AggieDave 6 #6 March 28, 2005 You still hit Ctrl+F to bring up the search bar on the bottom of the window, though.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline."

skr 1 #10 April 5, 2005 >You can find it by doing a username search How do you do a username search? I remember when I first came here there was a search like that over in the left column of the main home page. Skr
riddler 0 #11 April 23, 2005 After the site changed about a year ago, it became harder to do some of the things I used to do routinely. For user search, I now usually do it like this: Click Forums Click Who's Online Click View Member Directory Towards the top of that page, there's a text box called "Search for a user" Incidentally, I saw this post because I searched for you (an old habit ), and selected "Show User's posts".Trapped on the surface of a sphere.
