tfelber 0 #1 June 19, 2006 I think creating a Forum for posted articles where each article would have it's own thread would be a useful tool for people to discuss and learn more about the particular topic. There are several comments I have regarding the Exit Seperation article, for instance.

There are many other threads on the subject in the forums, most of them in S&T.Arrive Safely John
tfelber 0 #5 June 20, 2006 I think it would be more useful to have a thread devoted to the article with a link attached to the article so that the article could be discussed in more detail. Most of the info in the articles have been discussed elsewhere on this forum, but the article brings up additional meaningful conversations. I can start a thread about any topic I choose, but there is no way to relate directly to the article, there is no way to ensure people reading the article have direct access to the discussion, and there is no way to enable the author to easily view and answer questions about their article. For instance, I could post threads in s&t, ff, formation skydiving, general, ... regarding this article and there would be no way to ensure the author or others interested in the topic wouldn't miss the discussion. If we had a forum called say "Articles" or "Article Feedback" or whatever this would create a placeholder for relevant information. I could always contact the author via PM and have the discussion with the person directly, but that wouldn't be very useful to the community and would hinder other's useful input.
