Geoff 0 #1 April 9, 2001 Is there a web site or other directory which gives comparative info on manufacturers of parachuting equipment? i.e. in terms of annual sales, or number of canopies/containers sold, and maybe how long they've been trading. I thought the PIA web site might help, but it didn't seem to.People are sometimes reluctant to trust smaller manufacturers such as Mirage or Atair. But how much smaller are they than Sunpath and PD? Is there any way to find out, except by contacting each company individually?Could this info be added to the gear pages of dropzone.com ?thanksGeoff
miked10270 0 #2 April 9, 2001 Hi Geoff,WE do have gear reviews on Dropzone.com, but they're dependent on folk posting the reviews in the first place, so they're kind of patchy .Mike D10270.
fruce 0 #4 April 10, 2001 Geoff, it was either "Skydiving Magazine" or the USPA Magazine that ran comparative data for market share..... ie canopies/rigs. It showed sales trends over the last few years. I remember seeing it printed sometime in the past year. Hope that helps....frucehttp://www.fruce.com
