Missuse of DZ e-mailaddresses

I don't know where it would be appropriate to post this so ...

I've been receiving some viagra promotional emails to my DZ e-mail address. Is there any way to stop this??. Is this not a miss use of DZ email accounts?? Is there a filter installed for unwanted email??

I also get them.. but to my hotmail account. I don't know what to do either as I've never been on any sites or done any research on viagra

I delete about 75-100 junk e-mails a day on this address. Some are through no doing of my own; others are b/c if I have to use an e-mail address to sign up for something (like Kodak Easy Share most recently) I use this one rather than my personal e-mail address.

When you sign up for things, look for little boxes at the bottom that are automatically checked to "receive e-mail updates & offers from affiliates" and uncheck them.

When you receive junkmail, scroll to the bottom (if you've opened it) and there should be an "unsubscribe" link.

I just do a mass delete every day which takes about 30 seconds. I don't like to open junk mail.

I have a yahoo account that I use as my email address when I buy stuff. Therefore most of my junk mail goes there but that is all I use it for.

That's the fastest way I know of to get MORE spam, as they now know your address is valid

Do not ever reply to spam, period.

I've even gotten spam on an email account that I have never used and never told anybody about. It is also not a common address that someone could guess (random set of numbers/letters). Figure that one out.

BTW, I set it up just for this reason. I was curious if I would start getting span on a bogus account.

Well if you keep seding and receiving all those SPAM mails that do the rounds you are sure to get a bunch of crap mails abbout penis size, pron, dvd, free meds etc

Simple dont send or allow others to send you chain letters about, free beer, Disney Lotto, Death Penilty, Staving Kinds in Africa, Cat in a Jar .... the list goes on
