Text body of post cut off at right side

Recommended Posts

I see this once in a while. Sometimes a post comes out with words at the right end of the line cut off by the text body border. There's no way to scroll that text body over so you can read the rest...

Example - post #2 in this thread: http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?post=3219093;sb=post_latest_reply;so=ASC;forum_view=forum_view_collapsed;;page=unread#unread

Edited to add: what I find weird is when the browser page is full screen, the text at the end is cut off, but when I minimize the browser page to maybe 75% of the monitor screen, the text is show in its entirety.

I can't reproduce the problem. It's likely a rendering issue with your browser. What OS version, browser version and CSS (if any) are you using?

Okay, here's a screen shot as an example.

Internet Explorer 7.0

I've noticed it too occasionally, with internet explorer 6.0.

I've just been too lazy to report it.

I think that happens when someone makes a post using either {code} or someother markup that forces the line to continue to the right instead of forsing a carriage return.

It looks to be a normal quote - I've also seen it in posts with no markup. (With IE)

The strange thing is that when the window is fully expanded to the entire screen, I see this problem. But when I make the window smaller (clicking the double screen icon next to the red box with the white "X"), the problem resolves itself and all text is visible, or forced into view.
