leafyanna 0 #1 September 17, 2014 Sorry for the dumb question but I've failed to find an answer so far and the FAQ link doesn't seem to work? Is there a way to bookmark an article or a post on this forum? So that I can find them easily later whenever I want to...
Meso 38 #2 September 17, 2014 Hey, We used to have a bookmark function on the articles, which was removed due to insufficient user usage. But it may be something we bring back at some point, but we'd have to take another look at how we handle that. For the forums, you have the ability to "Watch" threads, which is essentially the forum version of bookmarking. You can watch a thead, by clicking on the "Thread Options" button on the top right of the thread, and clicking on the "Watch Thread" option. Once you have watched a thread, you can view it in your posts area. This can be accessed from the My Stuff box on the right of your screen "Posts", or directly from the URL here: http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?do=my_topics; Watched threads are listed at the bottom. BIGUN 1,402 #3 September 17, 2014 An additional solution for bookmarking something specific by a specific poster is to: 1. Create a Dropzone.com folder in your bookmarks library. 2. Click on the hyperlinked "Shortcut" just under the poster's username and save that to your new dropzone.com folder. 3. Rename the bookmark for specificity - i..e, Bigun Canopy Control.Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard. leafyanna 0 #4 September 19, 2014 Thanks, have tried watch thread function and happy with that now. The shortcut thing doesn't seem to get me anywhere though... Would definitely love to have a bookmark function for the articles in the future.
