wmw999 2,534 #1 April 19, 2013 See attached. I used the "quote" button after hitting "reply" to reply to a post. It shows up as "Code" (see the arrows). Wendy P.There is nothing more dangerous than breaking a basic safety rule and getting away with it. It removes fear of the consequences and builds false confidence. Meso 38 #2 April 22, 2013 That was my bad. I've resolved this now. Apologies.
Andy9o8 2 #3 April 23, 2013 The new coding still needs some bugs worked out. For example, when replying to a "quote" (as opposed to a "reply"), your reply appears withing the same box as the quote. Fixee, please.
Meso 38 #4 April 24, 2013 Fix should be done now. Feel free at any time to fire me a PM with these tech issues and I can get em fixed quicker :)
Andy9o8 2 #5 April 26, 2013 Hello. A friendly FYI - The "quote" code in posts being responded-to is starting to make things wonky again today. Basically it makes one's reply appear to be part of the same post to which one is responding.

It seems to be working fine for me, is there a post that I can go look at in another thread?"I may be a dirty pirate hooker...but I'm not about to go stand on the corner." iluvtofly DPH -7, TDS 578, Muff 5153, SCR 14890 I'm an asshole, and I approve this message
Andy9o8 2 #9 April 26, 2013 I don't remember where it is; too busy working with my left brain & post-whoring with my right.
Meso 38 #10 April 27, 2013 Looks fine on mine too at the moment, it may be that the person never closed or opened their tags properly, which would cause something like that to happen.
Andy9o8 2 #11 April 27, 2013 QuoteLooks fine on mine too at the moment, it may be that the person never closed or opened their tags properly, which would cause something like that to happen. It's demonstrated in post #8 of this thread. The sentence "Something like this" is what I wrote; the text immediately above it ("Test Test What do you mean") is what I replied to, but it appears to be part of the same message. You can see the "reply" code above my message when you're looking at my message in "code view", but it doesn't have effect when you look at it on the regular message-display screen. It appears that way (to me) on different computers at different locations, so it's not a computer issue. Happens both on Firefox and IE. That's the best I can describe it. It's in your capable hands. Meso 38 #12 April 29, 2013 Strange... Once again the closing tag code magically disappeared... Causing it to break. I hadn't even been working on it over the past few days, so not sure what is causing it... But I`ll give it one more try before troubleshooting. It should now be resolved though.
