cloudsniffer 0 #1 October 23, 2001 I have a vector II with at sabre 135 and a pd 143. The contain will also fit a 150 main. I am wonding if a vengance 107 will be too small in this container. Will the airlocks in the canopy take up much extra room? Also if anyone knows the pack volume of the canopy it would be easier to compair. Thanks
PhreeZone 20 #2 October 23, 2001 Exactly what Size Vector is it? You can check at Relative Workshops Sizing Chart and see what canopies the containers are sized for.A rainy day at the DZ is better then a Sunny day at work
skybytch 273 #3 October 23, 2001 Depends on the size of the Vector II - you can find that info on the same flap that has the container serial number. If it's a V1-2, which fits a Sabre 150 and PD143R snug and also fits a Sabre 135, you "might" be able to put a Vengeance 107 in it safely. If it's a V2-2, which fits a Sabre 170 and PD160R snug and can also hold a Sabre 150 (or Sabre 135 very loosely), you do not want to put a Vengeance 107 in it. If you are primarily a freeflier, I wouldn't recommend putting a Vengeance 107 in either of those container sizes; I'd get a container sized for that canopy.I don't have pack volumes but based on the experience of my boss and some of my customers a Vengeance 107 will pack up about a half size bigger than a non-airlocked 107. So it's not going to pack as small as a Sabre/Stiletto 107 or as large as a Sabre/Stiletto 120. You can always contact RWS and/or PD and see what they think about it; most equipment manufacturers are glad to answer your questions. pull and flare, lisa
