shbuda 0 #1 January 10, 2002 I haven't been on a plane with my rig since 9/11 before that I had no problem. I doubt it can be done these days and will have to send it in the planes belly. From real experience what is going on with this issue?

edid 0 #5 January 10, 2002 I just took a flight from NZ to OZ with my rig as carry on luggage (had to take some weight out of my suitcase so I just wore it on). No-one, not customes, not security, not air crew, batted an eye at it. Only one security official commented, "how does that baby harness work". Go figure. TheMarshMan1 0 #7 January 11, 2002 I've been on about 7 or 8 commercial flights since September 11th, and havent really noticed anything different from before all that, with the exception of a few things:-more signs about bag searches, what you can and cant have, etc.-random bag searches (but out of those 8, only one has checked my bag, and even then not too close)-only pax can go past the security checkpoint and into the gate area-have to show your ID quite a lotOther than that, from what I've experienced its really not much different.
