R00tj00se 0 #1 January 11, 2002 Before anyone has a go I have had a look through the archives and couldn't find anything relevant (how's that for going on the defensive)...Does anyone own one of the Tonysuits Spacesuit and what are your opinions. I've finally stopped cross dressing and admitted that I'm a freak so I'm looking for a FF suit. However, after doing some coaching jumps I've been told my fall rate in a sit is 'slooooooooowwwww! (Instructor was thinking of going on his belly to stay with me!!) when in an average sized suit so I thought I might try for a spacesuit as it is made for a racing snake like myself.cheers

R00tj00se 0 #3 January 11, 2002 "play with you "By that comment, you do mean in the sky don't you?? Can never be too sure where your perversions are concerned. But when you and Alex are back in the air at Hinton we'll definitely go do something - and I have a PC-9 now as well. Also got a pretty good 'No shit, there I was...' story but I'll save that for a rainy weekend. skycat 0 #4 January 11, 2002 ok this isn't really about a suit, but I've discovered that pants work the best for me for increasing my fall rate. They are fairly tight in the hips/butt upper legs, kind of baggy at the ankles and I use the type of long sleeve shirt to adjust fall rate. I normally wear a fairly tight shirt which is helping out now that I'm learning head down since there is a lot less drag on my arms.
NathanL100 0 #5 January 12, 2002 I've been told my sit is really slow too and I've been considering buying a jump suit so that I don't have to use my homemade freefly pants, but I'm unsure what to get that will get my fall rate up to par.Blue Ones,NathanA# 39553
TALONSKY 0 #6 January 13, 2002 The best advise I received on how tight or loss to get my freefly suit, was to call and ask the manufacturer about what to get. I bought a FireFly suit and when talking to them on the phone they asked alot of questions about my skills and exit weight and fall rate. In the end they added more fabric in the legs and arms(more than I ever thought I needed), but it was exactly what I needed.Blue SkiesKirk
OmriMon 0 #7 January 13, 2002 i had the same problem as u, my fall rate used to be between 120-145, my fastest fall rate was 146 when i was wearing t shirt ans shortsnow that i got my ff suit from jumpbubble my fall rate is between 150-170.u can ask just about any manufacturer to make the suit tight, i specailly asked for mine like the space suit and she made it EXACTLY as i wanted it."The longer you freefly - The longer your beard is"
