sportjumper 0 #1 January 12, 2002 I'm hoping that an experienced rigger could tell me if there's any discernable difference in the time it would take two reserves that were the same brand, but different sizes, to deploy?
SkydiveMonkey 0 #3 January 16, 2002 Haven't all reserves got to be packed to open in 500 feet / 3 seconds? It won't open any faster, but the PC will take longer to pick the heavier parachute off your back and get it into the air. It will also have to pay out more line before the locking stows open.-bill von
 Join the conversation You can post now and register later.
