cobaltdan 0 #1 April 18, 2002 we have had many requests for line specifications on our older canopies.a line specification chart has been posted on our web site under the faq section. note: viper and impulse/alpha/space are to use the newer cobalt line sets. if you have any questions about a reline fax us with the canopies placard information (serial #, dom, etc...).also note: the line specification chart is for spectra micro line and takes into consideration line dimension change (canopy will break in going into better trim not worse). if you are going to make your own line set and plan to use aramid lines please contact me for different dimensions.sincerely,danatairwww.extremefly.com
Geoff 0 #2 April 18, 2002 Doesn't seem to take into account the non-cascaded centre A/B lines on my Cobalt 105 (A5 and B5 I guess) - unless I'm not reading it right? Surely the length of the non-cascaded line is not just the 'overall' figure of a cascaded line because the cascaded line isn't straight?Just interested - I don't need new lines yet!RegardsGeoff
freefallin14 0 #3 April 18, 2002 Dan,"takes into consideration line dimension change (canopy will break in going into better trim not worse)." Does this mean that the performance of a new cobalt will increase after jumping it for a while? What should change as far as performance is concerned? Will openings be affected as the canopy is broken in? Will a heavier wingloading speed up this process? Just curious to know, by the way I am very impressed with mine, about 50 on it now and loving it.Bret
