Austintxflight 0 #26 November 9, 2011 The 3 of your comics I am looking forward to the most. 1. 1st Solo 2. Hop n Pop from 3500 3. Jumping your own pack job (our DZ makes you jump your own packjob before you get your A- license it could be different at yours) keep em coming they are great. grasshoppergirl 0 #27 June 20, 2012 Quote Here's a helpful hint. Just go do it. Like others said, you're not getting graded on style. You're purposely leaving your stable belly and making sure you can get back. Flipping over is just a fun way to learn that. You'll be surprised how much cooler you feel once you realize you can, unlike a poor turtle, flip yourself back over off your back. Think about it less, and just go have fun, using the techniques your instructors show you. Bumped because he's right!

I was under the impression that to get the packjob portion of your A signed off on, you had to jump it. Is that not right? You stop breathing for a few minutes and everyone jumps to conclusions. You should always be willing to jump what you pack. Yes, technically the card only says 'pack,' but I don't think I'd want to learn at a DZ that doesn't make you jump it before getting it signed off.
